To finish off the year, here’s my final mix – this one mixes a couple of my fav tracks of the moment and features plenty of awesome basslines – if you haven’t got a decent sound rig, you’ll need one to appreciate this bad boy.

One for the Trance Fans…

This is my latest mix, and it’s a slight edit of the recording from yesterday thanks to a combination of broken equipment and decks/effect controllers that were miles apart… Anyhow this mix hopefully combines nicely some of the very latest Trance tracks that are starting to appear in the clubs, alongside some of my all time favourite classics. The mix sits on the vocal and uplifting side of Trance for which I make zero apologies – my aim is to take you on a journey akin to the way the music in Creation is portrayed on that legendary film Human Traffic.

So what are you waiting for?

What’s your name? What have you had? Reach for the lazers. Safe as f***

Another mix, another month!

When the weather’s bad, you’ve got some new tunes and a couple of spare hours, the only option is to get a little mix going…

Just for something a little different to fill a bit of spare time on a Sunday, I’ve thrown a quick mix together. Based on a completely random set of tracks I’d pretty much not heard before, and with no editing, and just based on a first take in a far less than optimal setup… anyhow, it’s a mix of some classic Trance tracks and a little Progressive House and sun-kissed Ibiza numbers. Hope you enjoy 🙂

As if March 31st wasn’t already going to be busy with the Addictive Dogghouse Xtreme Back to Back special night over at EX4 in Exeter, our very own Robbie Dogg will be playing a set at the very special 9th Birthday event of Premonition in Plymouth.

You’ll find him at C103 (Club 103, Union Street, Plymouth) alongside killers in Hardstyle such as Kutski, Alex Kidd and Slideout.

So, if you can’t make it to the Xtreme night in Exeter and are in the Plymouth area, get down to C103 and join us in Room 2 where some lovely stomping Hard Dance, Hardstyle and Hardcore will be found.

Our next event is on 31st March 2012, from our Xtreme from Addictive Dogghouse stable. Featuring plenty of thumping basslines.

NEW VENUE: If you’re coming along, make sure you turn up at EX4 – just around the corner from Mosaic, the Golden Horn and Rococos!

The Xtreme night is not only Xtreme but also a Back2Back special and features…

Fracus and Darwin

Entity B2B 3Sixty

Burn B2B Fallon

Clarkey B2B DJX

Tantrum B2B DigiTek

…plus Yoshimitsu & The Rail as well as Oxside

It’s not to be missed and it’s going to be one killer night in our sparkling new venue, so whatever you do, don’t miss it!

Feeling a little lost without something to stomp to during the week? Wondered what Hard Dance is like? Fear not – in this mix you’ll find a selection of the Top 100 tracks in Hard Dance at the moment (as rated on BeatPort) and to break all those Hard Dance virgins in gently, it focuses on tracks that are a little “lighter” with plenty of kick and includes a few samples you’ll recognise from more mainstream stuff.

What are you waiting for, go stomp…

From tearing up dance floors under the Mediterranean sun of the White Isle, to filling out stadiums in South Africa, partying it up in the Nordic seas on a huge ocean liner, to nostalgic nights at some of the UK’s most prestigious clubs; Miss Lashes has seen more of the party than most!

When not headlining at one of Europe’s top festivals such as Global Gathering, Creamfields and Dance Valley; or playing to her adoring fans at some of the UK’s biggest domestic nights such as Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Inside Out and Planet Love ; Lisa’s musical adventure regularly sees her packing her suitcase and touring her style to another corner of the globe.

Huge popularity of the sell-out Lashed in Ibiza parties, led to instant worldwide demand for Lisa and her Lashed brand with marathonesque tours of the parties to China, Canada, United States of America, Netherlands, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan ensuing!

It wasn’t long before Lisa was officially recognised amongst the top ten DJs in the world and achieved the illustrious title of ‘The World’s Number One Female DJ’.

Away from the sparkling career behind the decks, Lisa has also enjoyed huge successes with her Euphoria albums. With sales well over 250,000 they were quickly established as the biggest selling hard dance compilations in the world – resulting in the nickname, ‘The Queen of Hard House!’

Since the golden days of hard house, Lisa has diversified her sound ,slowing the BPMs and incorporating uplifting and tech trance into her sets, which now sees her playing as a global headliner on the international scene alongside such stars as Sander van Doorn, Marco V and Ferry Corsten.

This more mature and diverse sound is represented by her hugely successful ‘Lashed Podcast’ and whilst still only in infancy, has already picked up over 70,000 subscribers! This sound has been incorporated into the relaunch of her Lashed events in 2010 with concise music progressing and a much more diverse line up of guests – ranging from Irish superstar John O Callaghan to Germany’s Scot Project and Dutch producer Sied Van Riel to Musical Madness head honcho Marcel Woods!

Never one to sit back, Lisa has been hard at work in the studio pushing this new sound through with several releases already under her belt on labels including High Contrast, Spinnin, Musical Madness & Discover. Lisa’s music has picked up plays from a huge range of DJs around the world including Armin Van Burren, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, and Paul van Dyk ,a regular on Radio One via Judge Jules & Kutski, along with many tracks that were quickly snapped up to albums worldwide; including Godskitchen, Ministry of Sound and Techno Club .
